The fruits and vegetable are harvested from local farms - most within 20 miles of our Northern California kitchen, so they are great for the environment and your body, the freshest and most delicious ingredients available.
Our Story
We lived a summer on a family fjord farm in Norway; tending to the garden, milking the cow and making food. Within this pristine and remote mountain environment we were introduced to serious food preservation. This experience brought us to a place and time when if you wanted to eat the fruits of the short summer year round, then you needed to preserve them for the long winter.Here at Happy Girl Kitchen Co. we are all about the feeling. I'll never forget when my girlfriend announced we were starting a pickle company. Eight years, 2 beautiful kids and 9,999 cucumbers later it's actually as fun as when it started, only busier 'cause we're sharing it with the country. We do all we can to bring the feeling of abundance and sunshine into each jar, collecting the best fruits, vegetables and tomatoes from our Circle of 13 organic farms. We hope you enjoy!
